Failure Through the Ages

"My great concern is not whether you have failed but whether you are content with your failure." ~Abraham Lincoln

Failure is not a new concept. Failure has traveled throughout the ages. Year by year, the failure has only gotten worse. Nobody can say that they have never failed. Failure is inevitable. Although failure is something that is going to happen to everyone, we all have the choice as to how we handle it.

Even Abraham Lincoln spoke on failure. He knew that everyone was going to fail, but he only cared about whether or not you were content with it. One may not be at peace with themself unless they are able to accept that they fail.

Accepting failure can be a good thing, but also a bad thing. It all depends on their attitude. One may accept failure and be okay with that. But one may not be able to accept their failure as easily as others. We all must be able handle failure if we want to go far in life.

How else do you think people can accept their failure?

  1. People can accept their failure by also ignoring their failure. Sometimes ignoring their failure can help them succeed at something else. They can also accept failure by trying to improve on their failure. When they accept their original failure they can try to fix their failure and see if they can make something better out of their failure.
